What I Did
Chocolate Chip Cheer helped me become much happier daily because I was able to serve. I performed at an Old Folk's Home, decorated cookies for my friend who is going to college, and made cookies for my family when there was contention. I was able to uplift and serve, and I truly enjoyed it. I hope you will be able to serve as well, and I believe in making a difference through spreading cheer.

Thank you to my parents, for their constant support and letting me use so many of their resources
Thank you to Ms. Dansie and Mr. Malouf for inspiring us to do this project and be able to create a difference in our community |
I chose the topic because I love baking chocolate chip cookies. When I get to share what I make with others, the experience becomes magical. I truly believe service can make a difference in our community. Sharing light and love with others can change so much in your family life, your friendship, and the community.
At first, I did this project because I love baking, and I thought service could do a good thing. But my understanding changed as I realized that service really changes you. I am so grateful to have learned that service really does make a huge difference, even delivering a small plate of chocolate chip cookies.
The biggest challenge when doing this project for me was having the courage to stand in front of the wonderful old folk's home and perform. Thankfully, I've made so many cookies that though the experience was hard, it was very enjoyable to do.
I believe sharing chocolate chip cookies makes a huge difference in the community. Service changes a person's outward demeanor, causing a difference in them and the community. Delivering a plate of chocolate chip cookies makes a difference in your life, the person you served, and that is what this project was all about. I believe in making I difference.
